The new smartphone photography books do cover how to make the photos you take come out better, as well as how to use the smartphone to do it – there are settings you can tweak and tricks you can use.
But what if you’ve already taken the photos? You can’t go back in time to take them differently!
Here’s a time machine – or at least the next best thing… the books show you how to use some fancy features that let you improve photos you’ve already taken.
You can do things like straighten wonky photos or crop them to remove scruffy bits.
But it’s not just that. You can also use filters and things like that to make the colours look better or even make photos look like they were taken in better light. A photo that looked just about OK before might look great once this is done.
Of course, you don’t want to overdo it, but it can be amazing how much you can improve a photo you’ve already taken (even if you took it months or years ago!)
That kind of thing is covered in Smartphone Photography One Step at a Time Vol 2 – more details (and how to get your hands on a copy) here.
If you’ve already ordered your books, it’s well worth having a look at Vol 2 with photos you’ve already taken in mind. (By the way, if you have already ordered your books and haven’t got them yet, don’t panic. We found out yesterday that the Royal Mail had kept a big batch of the ones we sent out in a pile in Preston. Maybe they liked the look of them too much to bear to part with them… anyway, we’ve reminded them they’re supposed to, you know, deliver them and they’re on with that now.)
If you haven’t already ordered your copies, here’s the link again if you want to order or find out more.
Books on how to use smarthe phones Samsung have you still got them. Hus band struggling.
