2nd book doesn’t mean 2nd rate…

This content is 6 years old. Please, read this page keeping its age in mind. Thank you.

I’ve mentioned the new book Survive and Thrive in the Digital Age already – hopefully you’re champing at the bit waiting for them to come into stock. (If you haven’t already ordered one, the full info and place to order is here.)

But unless you noticed one little bit in the full info, you might not know that at the same time, we also brought out a 2nd book at the same time.

Although I haven’t talked much about it, it is important.

It’s a fully up-dated new edition of a book called How to Stay Safe and Sound Online (Protect yourself from everything from viruses to scams, identity theft to bank fraud and spam email to websites you don’t want your grandkids to see).

I said before that I like long titles for my books – that way it can explain what the book is really about.

As the name suggests, this one is all about how to keep yourself safe on the internet from all the viruses, scams, tricks, malware and so on that could attack you (in some cases they could already have attacked you without you even realising).  These things can be a real risk, so it makes sense to know how to protect yourself (yes, having anti-virus software is important, but it’s not the be-all and end-all – it’s just a start).

You can order the book along with Survive and Thrive in the Digital Age – if you order online here, just tick the box saying “Select to get “How to Stay Safe and Sound Online” as well” when you’re putting in your name and address for us to post the books to.

If you’ve already ordered Survive and Thrive in the Digital Age and you’d like to add How to Stay Safe and Sound Online, then just drop us an email (you can reply to this one) letting us know or call 01229 777606 and we’ll include it for you with no extra P&P.

Or if you did want only How to Stay Safe and Sound Online, just email us or ring us and we’ll sort it out for you.
