Sorry for being so mysterious…

Last time I was a bit mysterious about what I’ve been working on – well, I’m not quite ready to completely whip the curtain aside, but here at least is a sneaky peak round the side of it!

You see, I’ve been working on some books that are the “flip side” of most of the books I’ve published.

I’ve done books (and videos) all about how to use the computer to do what you want to – both the basics of the computer and the internet and also specific things like Word & Excel and using eBay.

But the flip side is when things go wrong.  It’s all very well knowing how to (say) print a photo, but what happens when you’re trying to do that and your computer throws a “wobbly”… for no apparent reason.

Or maybe it’s not the computer’s fault – maybe you pressed a button by mistake or clicked somewhere you shouldn’t have.  It’s easy to do, after all.

Either way, you might end up with a computer that won’t respond… or some feature you use lots has completely changed and you can’t see how to get it back to normal.

That’s what I mean by the “flip side” – it’s not “how to do something” – it’s what to do when something’s wrong.

Anyway, as I said, I’m not planning to fully whip aside the curtain today, not until I’m fully ready. But now you know a bit more about what’s going on behind it!

More info next time, including what Louize’s holiday has to do with it all…
