I’d like to start by saying a huge thank you for all your messages of love and support – thank you from me and the boys personally, and from all the staff here at Helpful Books.
Honestly, I’ve been blown away. I’m so proud of the legacy he’s left behind – in every one of your frustrations soothed and lives changed for the better. And that to so many of you, Tim felt almost like family. It’s what he always wanted when he set up this business – to make a real difference, however small, to real people.
And speaking of making a difference… wow! I have to admit, when we shared the link to Tim’s Just Giving page for Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice, we had no idea how amazing the response would be! So far, we’ve raised nearly £12,500 in Tim’s memory.
In fact, I’ve got a little message from Michelle at Wheatfields to share with you all:
“The amazing support that has been shown in memory of Tim will help us provide vital care to our patients and their families at Wheatfields, as well as out in the community. It means we can be there when it matters; giving people the compassion and expert care they need, making way for what matters most – love.”
Hospice staff really are a different breed. I’m in awe of the care they give, and I’m pretty sure it would break a mere mortal like me. (By the way, if you haven’t donated and would like to, the Just Giving page is still open.)
It just remains for me to wish you all a happy, healthy and prosperous 2022 and I’ll be back next week with tech news, tips and advice.
All the very best
